Finally..the exams are over!!! (applause) Finally can rest a little liao...
Didn't blog for 3 months and now there's so much to talk about so quickly..
So firstly..
The Little Nyonya
Yeah..the drama that caused a frenzy all around the country.. anyways back to what I was trying to say..
(Disclaimer : The following about TLN are just my opinions on the show.)
1 word. OVERATED.
Seriously, I still don't get why so many people are crazy about it..
Yes, It's not bad..I can't say that I did not like it or its average, but it seriously does not deserve so many awards and attention..there are better shows by Mediacorp that can match up to its story and yet they do not get so many awards.
So what actually caused so much hype about it? I don't know, but its probably advertising. It was made in lieu with Mediacorp's 45th anniversary, so generally it would attract more people to watch it.
Also, SOME of the actors/actresses are seriously overated. I do not want to point fingers at anyone, but yeah.. some of them are actually really good at acting, but some are just average and only seemed to be good because of their roles...and they still could get nominated for the Star Awards. I think this is unfair for the other actors/actresses who were better than them.
Finally, I was really pissed that there was so much advertising on them even AFTER the show (eg. food,DVD). I saw them every 15 minutes and it really irritated me when they kept appearing again and again..and again..and again..AND AGAIN.
That's enough about TLN..on to the next one..

CONGRATS EVERYONE!! WE GOT 3rd!! Thank you everyone who put in an effort to plan and rehearse during the 3 days before the drama competition! Although I wasn't much of a help T-T
but well..at least we got 3rd..and Best Setting Award! :D
Movies
YES! movies! It seems like the movies that come out are getting better and better. There was X-men Origins and Star Trek, and soon there would be Night at the Museum 2 and Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen!! Looking forward to watching them..or maybe the DVD version XD

Fencing
Hiazz..realised that after being MIA for so long..so many things have happened in fencing..so long never train not sure if my footwork are still up to standards..gonna be back in training from next week onwards! YEAH!!! BANZAI!!!! XD

Wednesday CSM..no lessons..YAY! lowl
Nothing much today..finally finished tests..maths was relatively okay, had health screening..and of course another tiring session of NPCC..Doing rifle drill without a rifle just sucks.
